
This project is a teaser campaign to advertise a house that can be rented for vacation stays. We were tasked with illustrating 3 Instagram "story images" for Airbnb. The campaign is 4 images total: 3 illustrations and a final image that is an AirBnb branded photo. The goal of this ad campaign is to get users to click through and on the 4th image (the photo) they would click to see the full listing on Airbnb.




About the Space:
The home dates to 1850 and still has many of the original details - wood ceilings, slate fireplaces and beautiful carpentry, to name a few. These have been mixed with contemporary elements over a 2-year-long gut-renovation to accommodate a more modern way of living.
About the Illustrations:
To complement and highlight the features of the house. I chose three photographs of the rooms featured on the listing. The first is the iconic yellow door, the second is the bathroom, and the third is the living room. With these illustrations, I wanted to show the rooms accurately but focus on playing with color. A green element is in each for consistency: the vase, the towel, and the plant. All three also feature a light source, the globe light, sconces, and the window. The colors are consistent throughout the series, but each illustration has some of its own colors to make it stand out on its own.
