Volkswagen Freelance
One of my hobbies is vintage Volkswagens, which has allowed me to design posters, stickers, and logos for events and clients. This has taught me how to collaborate closely with clients, tailoring designs to both their vision and with a specific audience in mind.
Pop’s Place
A local Volkswagen club reached out to me to design a poster for their monthly meetings at Pop’s Place. For the design, I showcased two cars—a bus and a beetle—parked in front of Pop’s, aiming for a modern retro vibe. To achieve this, I focused on textures, colors, and typography. The club requested space on the poster to add changing dates, so I left room for that flexibility. I also included a nod to the club’s president by featuring him in his signature Filthy Buggers hoodie in the bottom left corner, which represents the club’s name. In addition to the poster, I designed an Instagram graphic for the club’s stories to promote and remind followers of the first meeting.
VDebs
VDebs, a clever combination of VW and Debbie, is a mom of seven with a passion for restoring Volkswagens as a fun hobby. I designed a logo for VDebs that perfectly represents their unique blend of family and fun. The logo includes three cars from her personal collection, along with her signature slogan, "Go Mama,". This logo has since been featured on stickers, flags, jackets, and more. Purple, VDebs' favorite color, is central to the design and makes everyone easily recognizable in their light purple shirts featuring the logo on the back.
